Outside Fun!!!

We have been having so much fun playing outside in the snow!! 

We even had to get out the sleds! We had such a blast!

Hand Washing Lesson

Yesterday, the school nurse came to our classroom to teach us about germs. She also taught us how and when to wash!

We are Gingerbread People!

To finish off our gingerbread man study we had to create our own gingerbread people! We used our own head as the head for our gingerbread man!

The Gingerbread Man

For the last few weeks we have been reading MANY stories about the gingerbread man! In most of our stories he was eaten by a fox, but in a few of our other books he was lucky to get away. While reading one of our stories, it talked about how the gingerbread man didn't want to get soggy and road on the fox to get across the river. 

We decided to do an experiment as to why he didn't want to go in the water and what soggy meant. Check out the pictures below and see what we discovered!

Before we put him in water we made a prediction on 

whether he would sink or float!

After we did our experiment we were able to eat a gingerbread cookie! Below is a chart for what each child ate first!
